Reverend Father Senan O.F.M, Cap. ,
Capuchin Friary,
Father Mathew Quay,
Cork.
Dear Father Senan,
I have been going through the file for the heating of the Father Mathew Hall with a view to getting the tender documents ready, as I think I have now got all the information I can about gas-fired boilers and have come to a decision about the type we should use.
I note however from your letter of the 21st December last that you were to get the permission of the Provinvicial before we could go ahead, and I am not sure whether this has yet been got as I have not heard anything from you in response to my letter of the 23rd April.
The summer is going rapidly and it looks as if I will be very busy for most of it, so I am anxious not to leave your job aside if at all possible I would be glad therefore to have your definite instructions about this job at your earliest convenience.
Yours sincerely,
John A Deasy
