In her final year project, Kayleigh Falvey utilises a variety of textual analysis tools (including Voyant) to explore the narrative of American Horror Story looking for evidence of aspects of female reproductive horror, from reproductive and sexual organs to virginity, pregnancy, birth, motherhood and finally to menopause (Gynaehorror). She shares her findings through a series of multimedia timelines (utilising TimelineJS) that help expose not only various plot lines for those unfamiliar with the genre and the series but to expose her research findings.
