Friday, June 4 – Sunday June 6, 2021 (Virtual sessions may start as early as Monday, May 31)Hosted by Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, BC The Canadian Network for Economic History (CNEH) will be organizing (virtual) economic history sessions for the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Canadian Economics Association (CEA). Virtual sessions may start as early as Monday, May 31. The CNEH invites anyone wishing to present a paper on any topic related to economic history to submit an abstract through the CEA online portal (economics.silkstart.com/cpages/conference-submissions) by Friday, February 12, 2021. Papers will be considered on all topics, with some preference given to those relating to the theme: The economic history of Indigenous communities, and interactions between Indigenous and non-Indigenous economies in Canada. CNEH Sessions at the 2019 CEA Meetings May 31 –June 2, 2019

The Canadian Network for Economic History (CNEH) will be organizing economic history sessions at the 2019 Annual Meeting of the Canadian Economics Association (CEA), to be held May 31 – June 2, 2019 at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity (Banff, AB). The CNEH invites anyone wishing to present a paper on any topic related to economic history to submit an abstract through the CEA online portal (economics.ca/2019/en/submit.php) by Friday, February 15, 2019. Abstract submissions in English or French are accepted starting December 1, 2018. The maximum length for an abstract is 250 words. Call for Papers for the 2017 CNEH Conference – October 22 – October 22, 2017 University of Toronto

Conference particulars are available above or at the 2017 Conference Page The Canadian Network for Economic History (CNEH) invites proposals for its next conference to be held on October 20-22, 2017 at the University of Toronto. Papers will be considered on all topics. To be considered for inclusion in the program please email a 1-2 page abstract to Shari Eli (shari.eli@utoronto.ca) and Gillian Hamilton (gillian.hamilton@utoronto.ca). The deadline for proposals is June 1, 2017. The program will be set and presenters notified by late-June. Graduate students and junior scholars are strongly encouraged to submit proposals. Funds may become available to partially reimburse travel and accommodation expenses for student participants.
